Terms of Service

Last updated: August 21, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ReferMe ("ReferMe," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using ReferMe, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. What ReferMe does

ReferMe is an AI job-search agent. On your behalf, it finds jobs that match your profile, applies to roles you select, identifies people who work at the companies you're targeting, and reaches out to those people to ask for a referral — via your own LinkedIn and email accounts, with messages personalized to you and the role.

2. Invite-only access (paid plans)

We cap active paid usage at 100 people per role, per city, at a time, so referral requests don't flood the same companies. We decide when a spot opens up and may change this limit, or how access is granted, at any time. The Free plan is not subject to this cap.

3. Your account and your LinkedIn connection

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us (resume, target roles, companies, locations) and for keeping your account credentials secure. When you connect your LinkedIn account, you authorize ReferMe to send connection requests and messages on your behalf, paced like a real person would reach out. You're responsible for your own compliance with LinkedIn's terms of use. We never store your LinkedIn password — see our Privacy Policy for how that access actually works.

4. Subscription and payment

ReferMe is a paid subscription, billed monthly at the price shown to you at signup (this may vary by country). You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. See our Refund Policy for our money-back guarantee.

5. No guarantee of outcome

We can't honestly promise that any specific person will refer you, that you'll get an interview, or that you'll get hired — those depend on real people having real conversations, which we don't control. What we commit to is described in our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable use

  • Provide accurate information about yourself — don't impersonate someone else.
  • Don't use ReferMe to harass, spam, or mislead the people it reaches out to on your behalf.
  • Don't attempt to circumvent the per-role, per-country access limits.
  • Don't use the service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Termination

You can stop using ReferMe and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or if we discontinue the service.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

ReferMe is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any outcome (or lack of outcome) from a referral request, application, or outreach sent on your behalf.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do; continued use of ReferMe after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction — to be finalized], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
